UNITOOL technology
With a conversion to UNITOOL you get yourself a mechanically robust tool which, due to the solid cooled baseplate halves made of chromium steel and ceramic end rolls, is not sensitive to high temperatures. This guarantees an excellent dimensional stability and durability and therefore significantly extends the intervals for maintenance.
The two symmetrical tool halves and Vernier screw make a setting of the nominal diameter within the adjustment range of +/- 0.5mm easy to handle in day-to-day operation and the settings reproducible.
With a small modification of the tool slide, the older calibrating crowns can still be used after a conversion to UNITOOL.
