Run-out belt (ROC) for UNITOOL

The existing ROC was delivered with diameter-dependent interchangeable parts. Only 20 mm of diameter variation could be covered for each interchangeable set. Thus, eight interchangeable sets were needed for the diameter range Ø 45–165 mm. The ROC could only be adjusted for its height and in the direction of transport. Lateral adjustment was not possible. The connection of the ROC was redesigned. This redesign makes all interchangeable parts unnecessary and the ROC now covers the entire diameter range. In addition, lateral adjustment was integrated in order to center the ROC. Furthermore, it is possible to read the diameter of the canbodies directly from the scale. The wear parts are identical to those of the old version. The setup is easier, the time needed is reduced and the position can be reproduced easily.

A UNICONTROL 2 based control unit is the minimum requirement for a conversion to the new Run-out belt (ROC) for UNITOOL.
