FBB premium conversion package
Seven gearboxes, three for the wire drive and four for the canbody transport, will be replaced by either frequency-controlled or servo drives. Noise, maintenance time, lubrication, and the need for spare parts will be reduced. Servo drives offer the advantage of torque control, which further reduces the need for safety clutches in the roll former and the two canbody transport systems, I and II.

Cable replacement
Due to the latest control and drive technology, some cables have become expendable, while others are simply old, oily, and prone to breakage or signal interruption. With our premium package, all cables and wires will be replaced. It’s an elaborate job, but it’s certainly worthwhile.
Replacement of air and water cooling hoses
Aged hoses bear the risk of leaking, therefore a premium package includes not only the latest technological hardware such as drives and electronics but also new hoses for water and air, properly laid.
Cooling plate
What’s used in our latest welders also finds its way into your old ‘buddy’. UNICONTROL allows not only monitoring of water flow in the cooling circuits but also quantifies it and alerts you if it is insufficient. Additionally, there will be two separate cooling circuits for the upper and lower welding rolls.
