Corona MWM premium conversion package
The MWM, also called ‘Corona’, was the first high-performance welder with a wide format range. It was indeed the crown of the product range of Soudronic back in the 80s and early 90s. However, due to its outdated controls, it is urgently recommended to either upgrade it with a new UNICONTROL or give it a complete makeover by replacing all drives, clutches, cables, hoses and most gearboxes.

Cable replacement
Due to the latest control and drive technology, some cables have become expendable, while others are simply old, oily, and prone to breakage or signal interruption. With our premium package, all cables and wires will be replaced. It’s an elaborate job, but it’s certainly worthwhile.
Replacement of air and water cooling hoses
Aged hoses bear the risk of leaking, therefore a premium package includes not only the latest technological hardware such as drives and electronics but also new hoses for water and air, properly laid.
Cooling plate
What’s used in our latest welders also finds its way into your old ‘buddy’. UNICONTROL allows not only monitoring of water flow in the cooling circuits but also quantifies it and alerts you if it is insufficient. Additionally, there will be two separate cooling circuits for the upper and lower welding rolls.
