Monitoring and providing proof of energy consumption in production machinery is increasingly important—not only for internal efficiency but also to comply with regulatory requirements in certain countries and industries.

In many regions, particularly within the EU and other jurisdictions focused on sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization, such documentation is required by law or for certification under programs like ISO 50001 or ESG frameworks.

When purchasing can making machinery from Soudronic, our latest generation of welders, coating and curing systems, end-making units, can assembly machines, and testers can be equipped with integrated energy consumption measurement tools. These allow for precise monitoring of electricity, air, and gas usage. In some cases, older systems can also be retrofitted with energy measuring equipment upon request.

Digital access to consumption metrics

Energy consumption data is available directly through the mySoudronic Insights dashboard, provided the machine is equipped with the Insights Ready feature. Users with mySoudronic Basic Access can view real-time and recent data for up to eight hours. For those needing more advanced functionality, the Premium Subscription unlocks unlimited access to historical data and includes export options for auditing, reporting, or internal analysis.

About Insights Ready and Retrofit

All machines and Premium Conversion Packages delivered from October 2023 onward come equipped with the free Insights Ready feature. This enables seamless data transfer to the mySoudronic Insights platform. Machines delivered prior to October 2023 can be upgraded to Insights Ready through a retrofit solution.
