One circuit, twice the impact: the new FLUID+ cooling system

Until recently, the cooling systems for welding machines and DISCON+ roller heads operated separately—adding complexity to maintenance, servicing, cleaning and food safety requirements. With the launch of the new FLUID+ cooling system, that’s changed.

The enhanced FLUID+ concept merges both cooling functions into a single, closed-loop circuit using one cooling medium. At its core is the newly developed, temperature-controlled FLUID+ heat exchanger, engineered to deliver stable, efficient cooling throughout the entire welding machine—including the challenging roller head area.

This streamlined design not only simplifies the system architecture but also improves thermal performance, reduces wear, and boosts long-term reliability. The integration of a specially formulated, NSF-approved FLUID+ coolant plays a key role in this: it enables safe, long-term operation with a service life of up to two years. Maintenance is minimized, and cleaning the circuit becomes significantly easier and less frequent.

The FLUID+ cooling system now comes standard on all new Soudronic SOUCAN and COMPACT series, as well as Can Man X series welders, starting from the 2023 production year.
