SPM-2 powder monitor
The powder monitor checks for faults in the coating of the can bodies. The optical sensor scans the seam coating (reflection principle).
A light curtain is radiated onto the seam coating, and the reflected light is measured.
The coating material is the reference. As soon as the coating is translucent, the increase in the amount of reflected light is measured and this increase is detected.
