Drop bars conversion: Drop bars to electromagnets
Upgrade for drop bars system on slitter second table
Most of the Ocsam and Cepak slitters sold in the past were provided with the drops bars system to drop the strips onto second table.
Ocsam Cepak created a conversion to switch from drops bars to electromagnets, drops bars are cheaper but very sensitive to the material change.
Scope of supply:
- Electromagnets bars
- Support
- Electronic parts to control the electromagnets (different for each type of machine)
Advantages:
- No maintenance
- Easier and faster to adjust during a change over
- Less sensitivity to the type of material
